on 03/09/2009 celebrated NABU-Hamburg are the 25th of Carl Zeiss bird Station (formerly Hermann Kroll house).
Among the guests were mostly volunteers and assistants, as well as representatives of society and politics. Three short speeches by Rolf Bonkwald (Chairman of the NABU Hamburg), District Administrator Dr. Grimme (CDU * cough *) and Gerhard Krüss (Carl Zeiss Sports Optics), were the highlight of factual the highly successful anniversary celebration. The tent set up on the way to the station, turned frequently to a wind tunnel, this disrupted the event, however, hardly. Shortly after the round thank the three speakers who led the
full-time station manager Mark Sommer, the guests through the station, which previously did not have the opportunity to grasp it in the eye. Following the tour there was a great BBQ buffet. Finally, each guest was allowed to take a Jubilee mug. So overall a great event and additional motivation to work on Saturday following application, more on that later.
